Understanding and Leveraging Customer Profitability

Understanding the profitability of your clients and products can have a tremendous impact on your marketing results. With tighter marketing budgets, every dollar invested in marketing must deliver measurable return on revenue. If you don’t know the who, what and why’s of customer profitability how can you prove your marketing plan had anything to do with your bank’s profit growth?

In this session attendees will learn the fundamental importance of customer and product profitability and how to leverage this knowledge to increase sales, improve retention, lower costs and improve profits.

Session Objectives and Takeaways:

  • Provide a high-level overview of methodologies used to determine account, household and product profitability.
  • Teach participants how to divide customers into useful and actionable segments based on profitability and develop and implement strategies to improve the profitability of each of these segments in your customer base.
  • Describe how to utilize customer profitability intelligence to improve marketing initiatives, develop targeted cross-sell programs, focus retention efforts, etc.
